Project HELP || Naples Photo Booths

Naples is in our name for a reason and no its not for analytic or because it’s easy to remember. It is because Naples is a part of us, it’s our home, our community, our life and an intricate part of who we are as people. We believe in giving back and connecting with our community through volunteer work and charity booth donations. We want you to know when you work with Naples Photo Booths you’re helping multiple local causes. On January 20th we were able to be a part of Project HELP’s 21st annual Chocolate Extravaganza held at Hodges University. Their theme this year, aside from delicious chocolate, was “Rockin through the decades.” Guests and volunteers were encouraged to dress to reflect a decade from the 50’s-2000’s and they did not disappoint! Check out some of the photos below to see the great outfits. The evening was filled with incredible chocolate, desserts and hors d’oeuvres sponsored by local vendors and businesses. While enjoying the treats there was also a silent auction, raffle, music and of course a photo booth. The goal that evening wasn’t just to have fun though, it was to raise awareness and funding for a very important cause. Their signature fundraiser is a way to support survivors of sexual assault, human trafficking, violent crime and sudden loss. Now in their 31st year, Project HELP provides 5,000 free and confidential services annually.

Naples Photo Booths is a local family owned business, one of our core values is “family first” and we look for organizations that align with that value and positively serve our community. When we think of family we think of unconditional love, compassion and support and when we read Project HELP’S mission and vision statement we felt all that and more. I would like to share it with you.

Mission Statement:

Project HELP works with dignity and compassion to ease the pain of those who have been affected by rape, violence, crime or loss of a loved one.

Vision Statement:

To provide every member of our community, regardless of age. financial status. ethnicity and identity with access our 24-hour Crisis and Referral Hotline, Sexual Assault Response Services. Crime Victim Advocacy. Sudden Death Response and Crisis Intervention Services. We strive to give a voice to all those affected by violence, sudden death and trauma.

While the words have a great impact in and of themselves I was even more blown away when I started asking people I knew if they had heard of Project HELP before. I was blown away by the response, most of the people I talked to had either used or known someone who has used Project HELP before. In those moments I couldn’t have been happier that there was a place in my community that the people I knew and loved could obtain the help the needed because of generous donations and selfless volunteers. We look forward to working with Project HELP again in the future and encourage anyone who able to get involved as well. If you would like more information on donating or volunteering or are in need of help, please read below.
