Collier Charter Academy | Spring Carnival

Collier Charter Academy | Spring Carnival

As the school year comes to an end Collier Charter Academy closed out their first year with a Spring Carnival. This annual event showcased over 20 carnival themed games throughout classrooms and they were run by teachers and parent volunteers. The multi purpose room was filled with fun activities and treats. Parents supported four tables full of delicious desserts that could be won in the "cake walk" there you could also find 50 giant chocolate cookies donated from Mitch's Cookies! I know I was thrilled when my kids picked one of those as a prize, sharing size for sure. You could also try your luck at one of the 13 raffle baskets, there were even gift certificates for JC Drainfield services. After stopping at the candy buffet next up was concessions. Oh boy! New York Pizza and Pasta donated all of the pizza for the carnival and no one was disappointed. The pizza was delicious, hot and served by their incredible team. Publix provided over 200 hundred hotdogs to hungry carnival goers. Who knows next year you may even see a hot dog eating contest.... With all that food the only way to wash it down was with soda and water provided by Laram Construction. Once your belly was all stuffed you could sit down and have your face painted by Fantabulous Balloons and Decor, courtesy of Atlantic Home Loans or create a wood craft with the Home Depot team. Don't forget the photo op with McGruff the crime dog over at the Collier County Sheriff's table.

Making your way outside guests were greeted with the Icy Dreamz Shaved Ice truck offering of course rainbow shaved ice and cotton candy! Icy Dreamz also provided the popcorn for the carnival, a healthy pop with coconut oil and pink sea salt. YUM!

Something everyone enjoyed was the dunk tank from Taylor Rental. Its not everyday you get the chance to soak your teachers and Principal. All of those PE classes throughout the year must have paid off because those kids rocked the dunk tank!

The NCH Blood Mobile was also onsite and guests were encouraged to give blood and help boost supplies that are needed now. Students received "bloodhound bucks" gift cards that they could use in the Scholastic Book Fair that was going on at the carnival as well.

Of course Naples Photo Booths was there! Check out some of these fun photo booth photos!
